Then another anon added, Should be in the discussion entry, unless a story based on these maps is a request. ... Admittedly, Phoenix taking a trip through these lands would be a heck of a fic.
"Larry," Phoenix sighed, propping his forehead on a palm, "Could we please ask for directions somewhere?" "Not a chance! Asking for directions is totally not what two dudes do on a road trip!" He turned the map upside down, and tipped his head like a confused dog. "We have hunting instincts for finding directions and stuff. Believe me, Nick. It's a manly bonding thing." He wasn't sure what to believe anymore, actually. He sank further into his seat, takeout drink cups rattling around his sandalled feet. "I don't think I like any of the directions we've been going."
For a long and glorious moment, Larry thought, biting his tongue with the effort.
"... At least those furry chicks were hot." Plead the fifth, Phoenix, plead the fifth. He straightened up: slouching put more pressure on his bladder, and their washroom ... options had been a little bit mentally scarring for the past hundred miles. "Frott-err-izm? Aww, man, I don't speak Swedish!" "Larry," Phoenix tried, in the most patient and reasonable voice he had, "We'll ask for directions once. Just once. Maybe someone can tell us how to get to Futanari County." Although Phoenix was pretty sure that didn't mean what Larry thought it meant. "Really?" Larry welled up with joyful tears, and flung the map into the wrapper-buried back seat. "I could really, really go for some sushi! Alright, I'm gonna ask this guy here!"
Something niggled at Phoenix, though, as Larry began rolling down the car window. Maybe the odd sheen in that particular pedestrian's eyes, or the growing smile on his face. More likely, though, it was the strange way he wriggled under his clothes. "L-Larry, that's--" "Relax, I got it! HEY, 'scuse me! We're--"
And as dozens of tentacles slithered in through their open window, Phoenix promised himself that he would never, ever try new things ever again.
