Any unusual pairing (please not P/E, K/A, Miego, P/M, or Fradrian), with a little preference for femslash. Also no Gavincest, please; I just personally don't like it. Can be fluffy or angsty. Short and sweet is all I need. ( Sleeping light meant that she noticed things, details, patterns. ) I almost forgot about this one. But yeah, I've been compelled lately by that period of Mia's life where she's alone: the branch family is presumably no help, Maya's just a kid, and there probably weren't any easy real-world connections. Maybe Misty pulled a string or two behind the scenes but Mia wouldn't have known there was someone working for her like that. She's unbelievably strong, to be a successful, confident business owner by 1-1. Aaaaand there'll be a pile of Wright-A-Thon fic in a few days. :D |

( It wasn't as though anything terrible had occurred. ) I'd usually be all over a Gant/Lana-condusive request like this, but anons were clamouring for Gant/Lana so I logically wrote a less obvious pair. *shrug* Set me on a rat, and I'd rather chase a mouse. I mostly picked Gant/Angel because of the sheer open-endededness of the prompt. Also 'cause Angel's awesome and yet she gets no fic. But it's one of those matches that just made so much emotional sense by the end of the drabble. In my headcanon, Angel doesn't actually do anything with the nine thousand boyfriends; they're just strung along, and that must get exhausting for her after a while. And you can't kid a kidder, so maybe Angel'd sense that Gant's manipulative even before he does anything evil in canon. Maybe she was fired because Gant thought she might figure out too much? I really like the osso buco metaphor on her (that's tough veal shanks simmered long and slow until they're fall-apart-tender, for you non-foodies). And I figure you can't teach an old Feenie new tricks, so I went for a little of the gushing committed-relationship adoration we saw in 3-1 (minus the pants-on-head stupid). I guess the whole point I'm trying to make here is OKAY, I really need to lay off the kinkmeme now. |
